Invoice Viewer

Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

In short

  • The invoices you open are processed in your own browser. They are never sent to us or to third parties.
  • We do not use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising tools.
  • When you buy Pro or Team, we process the data needed for the contract, the payment and the invoice.

Controller

Tevfik Özdemir, trading as Bedrijfsboekhouder.com, Einsteinlaan 28, 2289 CC Rijswijk, the Netherlands, info@bedrijfsboekhouder.com.

1. Viewing invoices

When you open an invoice, the file is read by JavaScript in your browser. The content of the invoice is not transmitted. If you use Pro, the invoices you open can be kept in an archive on your own device (browser storage). You can delete that archive at any time in the viewer.

2. Visiting the website

Our server receives the technical data every browser sends (IP address, browser type, requested page) to deliver the website. We do not keep access logs. We do not set cookies. The viewer stores a few settings on your device (browser storage): your license key, the start date of your trial, a random device ID and, with Pro, the archive mentioned above.

3. License check

If you activate a license, the viewer and the extension send your license key and a random device ID to our server to confirm that the license is valid. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4. Buying Pro or Team

We process your company name, name, email address, address, country and VAT number, the plan you chose and your payment status. We use this to provide the license, to send invoices and to meet tax obligations. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). We keep invoice data for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.

To check VAT numbers we use the VIES service of the European Commission. Payments are handled by Mollie B.V., Amsterdam, which acts as an independent controller for the payment data. Emails are sent through Google Workspace. Our server is hosted in the Netherlands.

5. Waiting list

If you leave your email address to be notified when ordering opens, we use it only for that message and then delete it.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Email info@bedrijfsboekhouder.com. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your country.

7. Browser extension

The extension processes invoices in your browser in the same way. In Gmail it only adds a button next to XML attachments of the email you are viewing; it reads an attachment only when you click that button. The extension does not collect browsing data.
