XRechnung viewer
Germany: open XRechnung files in UBL or CII syntax, including the Leitweg-ID.
Read more →Open Peppol and UBL invoices as a normal invoice: Peppol BIS Billing 3.0, NLCIUS, OIOUBL and other UBL 2.1 files. Including the PDF that is often embedded.
UBL (Universal Business Language) is an XML standard for business documents. Most e-invoices sent over the Peppol network are UBL files that follow the Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 specification. You recognise them by the extension .xml and the first line, which contains <Invoice or <CreditNote.
Since 1 January 2026 Belgian businesses must exchange invoices with each other as structured e-invoices over Peppol. The Netherlands, the Nordic countries and many governments in Europe also use Peppol. If an invoice reaches you outside your accounting software, for example as an email attachment, you can read it here.
Many senders embed a PDF version of the invoice in the UBL file, encoded as text. Invoice Viewer finds it and lists it under "Attachments": one click and the PDF opens. Delivery notes, timesheets and other attachments work the same way.
A UBL CreditNote is shown as a credit note, with the credited amount instead of an amount due, so you do not pay it by mistake.

How it works
Drag the .xml file or the PDF onto the box, or choose it from your computer. A ZIP with several invoices works too (Pro).
You see seller, buyer, lines, VAT and the amount due, laid out like a normal invoice, in your language.
Copy the IBAN and payment reference, open embedded attachments, print the invoice or save it as PDF for your records.
Invoices contain business details, bank accounts and prices. That is why Invoice Viewer reads them inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded: not to us and not to anyone else. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded and it still works.

Yes, if you have the XML file. Peppol access points and accounting software can usually export or download it.
If the sender embedded a PDF, it appears under "Attachments" below the invoice. Click it to open.
